I’m the founder of Beam and Aventive Ltd., based here in Zurich, Switzerland.
For years, my own financial life felt like a puzzle with missing pieces. I had accounts everywhere (a checking account here, a pension plan there, some investments scattered across two other apps).
Despite being organized in other areas of my life, I could never confidently answer one simple question: "What is my actual net worth right now?"
I just wanted clarity, but finance apps made it hard. They were either too complex, too noisy, or asked for bank passwords I didn't want to share.
I wanted something different. Something calm, private, and deliberate.
So, I built Beam.
